The Project Overview
For the "Communication Design" course at Politecnico di Torino, my team and I were tasked with creating a campaign to promote an event focused on combating climate change. Aiming to engage 14-16-year-olds, we chose to center our campaign on the theme of exchanging and reusing physical video games, a concept that would resonate with the target audience.
My Role in the Campaign
The event we designed encouraged teenagers to come together to exchange video games, fostering both community and environmental awareness. I took on the role of designing the graphics for the campaign, including posters, leaflets, and flyers. Using Blender, Photoshop, and InDesign, I developed a vibrant and visually appealing layout that spoke directly to the interests of our young audience.
Going Digital
In addition to the print materials, I designed the website and app interface. The website not only provided information about the event but also offered functionalities such as ticket purchasing, app downloads, and donation options. Both the website and app prototypes were created using Figma, and they are showcased on my Behance profile (@sofiadestefanis).
Design Inspiration
Drawing inspiration from the world of video games, I incorporated elements from iconic games and used simple yet vibrant colors to create a design that was both dynamic and relatable. This project allowed me to explore the intersection of digital design and social responsibility, ultimately crafting a campaign that effectively engaged a young audience with the important issue of climate change.
